Pilgrims of Hope: ARSC Members Gather for 15 National Congress
JUNIOR JOSEPHIAN CHRONICLES
Nathaniel Colt T. Rosadiño

The year 2025 ended with many happy memories for the Augustinian Recollect Student Crusaders (ARSC) community as officers from different parts of the country gathered for the 15 ARSC National Congress held on December 17 to 21 at Saint Rita College of Manila.
The congress was attended by ARSC officers from three provinces: the Province of Saint Augustine, Mother Dionisia, and Mother Cecilia. Saint Rita College of Manila, which is the Mother House, served as the venue and the place where the participants stayed for five days. During the congress, the participants joined different activities such as seminars, ceremonies, and daily Masses. One of the most meaningful activities was a pilgrim walk to different churches, which reminded everyone of their faith journey.
Several talks were given during the congress, but one talk truly touched many participants. It was delivered by Arun Gogna, a motivational speaker, Catholic preacher, and author. His talk was connected to the Jubilee Year 2025 theme, “Pilgrims of Hope.” He shared that hope is very important in life and compared it to oxygen that keeps us alive. He said that without hope, it is hard to continue, especially during difficult times.
Gogna also explained that problems are not the end of life. He encouraged everyone to look at problems in a positive way and face them with courage. He added that while hope is important, people should also take action because God helps those who help themselves. According to him, life may have ups and downs, but we must continue moving forwardwith faith and determination.
The 15th ARSC National Congress taught the participants to become true pilgrims of hope. As the community enters the year 2026, the lessons from the congress inspire everyone to improve their lives and share hope, love, and positivity with the people around them.
