The Student Services page serves as your central hub for the various support programs and services designed to promote students’ well-being, growth, and success inside and outside the classroom.
We provide essential services that support your academic journey and student life—from guidance and counseling, health services, and campus safety to technology assistance and other student-centered support programs.
Our dedicated staff and offices are committed to creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment where every Josephian can learn, grow, and thrive.
Guidance Center
The Guidance Center has been created specially to serve “persons”. It is always geared towards the fulfillment of the Vision-Mission of the school. The center has a set of services specially structured to serve the whole community.
These services are part of the total education program and are made available to all. The services will enable each student to gain an understanding of himself and awareness of his Christian Dignity and his place in society.

School Library
The library or learning resource center contains a collection of books, periodicals, magazines, newspaper and other materials which are available for reference, study, and research of pupils and students. For effective reading, the Library should have an atmosphere of SILENCE.
The library is for reading, studying and researching; silence is to be observed at all times.
Reference books, current magazines and newspapers should never be brought out.
Care should be given to books. They should not be destroyed and mutilated. Pages should be free from writing and should not be torn, no “dog-ear” to be done (folding the pages).
Lost books must be reported to the librarian at once.
School Medical/Dental Clinic
To safeguard the health of students, the school provides medical and dental services, medical consultation and referral, and other health services.
If you feel sick, you may ask permission from your Adviser or Subject Teacher and ask for the pass card. Seek the assistance of the school physician/school nurse before going to the principal and Guidance office.
In case you are advised to go home, the school nurse calls your parents to pick you up.
Get a clinic slip or release permit from the school nurse. The clinic slip/release permit must be signed by the Principal and presented to the school guard before going out.
The clinic gives First Aid Services only.
When sick before going to school, a student is required to stay at home to avoid contamination as the case may be and the much needed rest for a faster recuperation.
Audio-Visual Room, Speech Laboratory, Computer Room, Laboratories, Conference Room and Instructional Media Center
The school maintains other learning centers for instructional purposes such as AV Room, Speech Laboratory, Computer Room, Science Laboratory, Food Laboratory, Clothing Laboratory, conference Room and IMC.
The students should strictly follow the rules and regulations pertinent to the use of the laboratories and AV room and its equipment.
Students are responsible for the return in good condition of equipment and other facilities, and in leaving the centers clean and orderly.
The students must be responsible in conserving energy and preserving the materials.
Any damage has to be reported to the personnel in charge. The class/student through the teacher’s leadership should accept the responsibility of replacing and repairing the equipment.
Lockers
Lockers are provided to students for the safe and convenient storage of school materials and personal belongings. Students are expected to use lockers responsibly and follow the school policies to ensure security, order, and proper maintenance of school property.
Lockers are available for rental at the Treasurer’s Office at the beginning of the school year. A duplicate key is left at the Treasurer’s Office.
The student should get his/her things needed in the day activity before classes start. The student is not allowed to go to his/her locker every period.
The school is not liable for the loss, damage to or disappearance of any article inside the locker.
The school authority reserves the right to open for inspection any locker at any time if deemed necessary.
At the end of the school year, all lockers must be emptied. Any locker not emptied at the stipulated time will be opened by the school and its content confiscated.
Canteen/Bookstore
The school canteen and bookstore are established to provide students with accessible food, school supplies, and other essential materials within the campus. Students are encouraged to observe discipline, courtesy, cleanliness, and respect while using these facilities.
The Students must form their lines when buying in the canteen.
Observe politeness and courtesy by saying “May I buy” and “Thank you” after buying.
If possible give the exact amount when buying. Don’t ask for change if you have not given any money. Don’t get anything without paying.
There should be no buying in the canteen or in the school bookstore during class hours. This should be done during recess and before or after class hours.
Give due respect to the helpers at the canteen/bookstore.
Student Development Programs
The Student Development Programs of St. Joseph College of Cavite, Inc. are designed to support the holistic formation of students through academic excellence, spiritual growth, leadership development, and community engagement. Guided by the institution’s commitment to quality Christian and Augustinian Recollect education, these programs provide meaningful learning experiences that nurture students intellectually, morally, socially, physically, and spiritually.
Through various academic, religious, co-curricular, guidance, health, and outreach programs, SJCCI empowers students to become responsible, compassionate, and values-oriented individuals prepared to contribute positively to society and the Church.
Curriculum
An approved Curriculum that defines teaching-learning process and includes experiences that provide students with basic skills necessary to function effectively in society. The core of the Curriculum is Religion which promotes the spiritual and moral formation of students.
Instructional Program
To assure the attainment of desired student outcomes/or achievement, the school enhances effective means to facilitate monitoring, assessing and supervising the implementation of the Curriculum.
Religious Formation Program
To help student acquire a deeper and closer relationship with God and fellowmen, religious activities are provided such as retreats, recollections, masses, confessions, devotional prayers, rosaries, membership in religious organizations such as COLC for High School and College and LCM for Pre-school and Elementary.
Evangelization Program
Essential to its educative process, St. Joseph College of Cavite, Inc., an Augustinian Recollect Institution is equipped with a program on Renewed Integral Evangelization in line with the mission of the Church, aims at a total formation of the human person in a properly integrated Augustinian spirituality characterized by clarity of values, newness in fervor, methods, and expression.
ARSC
Facilitating Christian development for intelligent and responsible faith as well as for developing Filipino Christian leaders for the future – the Augustinian Recollect Student Crusaders of SJCCI is the Supreme Student Council of all Augustinian Recollect Sister Schools in the Philippines. It is the umbrella organization of all curricular or extra-curricular organizations which also assists in carrying out the implementation of the school rules and policies. It also assists in the development of the students to become:
Seekers of truth and wisdom, promoters of justice and peace, and for constructive change in society and nation.
ARSCians who are steadfast in faith and humble before God and man, trained to become more maka-Diyos, maka-tao, maka-buhay, maka-bayan and maka-kalikasan and leaders of prayers learned and experienced through DAILY WORSHIP.
Guidance Program
Counseling services are principally offered to assist students in their school or personal problems, and aid them to make decisions or choose their careers. Counseling, testing, research, student inventory, peer counseling are some of the services rendered by the Guidance Office.
Homeroom Guidance/ Advisory Program
To supplement and strengthen the functions of the guidance personnel, students are placed under an adviser for moral and character formation, and enhance his/her social relationship with his/her classmates.
Library
The library is the center of learning. It provides all reading materials and materials for content areas.
Audio – Visual Room
The school provides other learning centers to make teaching-learning process more effective. It consists of non-print materials and other teaching aids and devices.
Student Activity Program
Learning is enhanced not only through relevant quality education inside the classroom but also through a well-balanced ON-SCHOOL or OUT-OF-SCHOOL/OFF-CAMPUS Co-curricular activities. The school promotes youth development through participation in dramatics, literary-musical contests, and cultural presentation to challenge the intellect and creativity of students. To enhance opportunities for democratic leadership, leadership skills and enriching campus experiences the school provides opportunities for participation in authorized ON-SCHOOL clubs and organizations.
Health Services
The school maintains the services of a Physician and Dentist (on scheduled hours) and a Nurse who are primarily responsible for safeguarding the health of students.
Physical Fitness Program
In-school and out-of-school athletic activities are provided to promote physical development among students.
Outreach Program
To inculcate the spirit of charity, activities to serve and get to know the community are held to give the students opportunities to practice and live the virtue of charity and generosity.
Student's Activity Programs
The Student's Activity Program of St. Joseph College of Cavite, Inc. is designed to promote the holistic development of students through meaningful religious, academic, cultural, social, and co-curricular activities. These programs provide opportunities for students to strengthen their faith, develop leadership and interpersonal skills, enhance their talents, and actively participate in the life of the school community.
Guided by the institution’s commitment to Christian and Augustinian Recollect values, students are encouraged to participate responsibly in activities that support their personal growth, academic development, and spiritual formation.
Religious Activities/Formation
The foremost aim of our school is the development of the spiritual and religious aspect of man. It is while still young that these virtues are best inculcated. It is deemed fit for all students/pupils enrolled in St. Joseph College of Cavite, Inc. to take religion as a regular academic subject and to attend the religious exercises. Among these are the following:
Sunday Mass and Mass on Holy Days of Obligations, First Friday devotions, Confessions and the Holy Rosary.
The class begins and ends with a prayer. Pray reverently with attention.
The church/chapel is the house of God. Jesus is present in the Blessed Sacrament. During the Holy Mass and Holy Hour, refrain from yawning, sleeping, turning here and there, chatting or going in and out of the church/chapel. NO ONE should eat inside the Church/Chapel.
Retreats and Recollections – This is a regular spiritual exercise once a year which a student should not miss.
Students of St. Joseph College of Cavite, Inc. are encouraged to participate actively in Religious Organizations approved by the school – COLC for all students. Non- Catholics are required to be present during Religious Activities and attend C.L.E. classes as this is part of the required subject of SJCCI. However, they are not allowed to receive Holy Communion.
To inculcate the spirit of charity, students/pupils are encouraged to involve actively in all Out-Reach Program of the school.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school provides opportunities for participation in a well-balanced co-curricular program such as sports, dramatics, field trips and the like which are geared towards personal and social development. However, these should not be scheduled to interfere with class periods except in extreme and justifiable causes approved by the School Head.
ON-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Academic work takes precedence over any and all activity work. Students owe their first duty to their classroom work than their activities. Students may not be excused from classes early to attend to activity matters, nor should this be requested by the Principal or the Activity Moderator. Students should not be allowed to participate in an evening performance of an activity who has been absent at his/her regular academic classes during the day without any valid reason.
OFF-CAMPUS/OUT-OF-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
During Off-Campus Activities, sponsored by the School such as field trips, representations and the like:
Permission of such kind of activity must be secured beforehand from the proper school Administrators, Directress or Principal.
Participating student must have parents’ written permission or waiver.
During such activities, do not leave the main group without the approval of your class adviser or coordinator
Explicit permission must be obtained to go swimming, boating, and staying out overnight.
The school shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident that may happen. But proper precautions will be made; chaperons and first aiders will be employed and provided for.
Any student who intentionally hurts his/her schoolmate, inflicting wounds or bruises will be answerable for the consultation, medications or hospitalizations as the case may be.
Since smoking and drinking do not do well to one’s health, this practice is strongly discouraged of young students during assembly, activities or class days in buildings and anywhere in and out of the school campus.
PARTICIPATION IN OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES
Students are not allowed to hold, sponsor or participate in any social, political, educational or religious functions using the name of the school without the written permission from the Directress or Principal.
Club and Organizations
St. Joseph College of Cavite, Inc. encourages students to participate in recognized clubs and organizations that promote intellectual, cultural, spiritual, physical, and social development. These organizations provide students with opportunities to enhance their talents, develop leadership skills, build camaraderie, and actively participate in school life.
All clubs and organizations operate under the guidance and approval of the school to ensure that activities reflect the values, mission, and standards of SJCCI. Students are encouraged to join organizations that will contribute positively to their holistic growth and formation.
Note that,
Students or pupils may join and participate in organizations and clubs recognized by the school to foster their intellectual, cultural, spiritual and physical growth and development.
Formation of unauthorized organizations, clubs, brotherhood, sororities, gangs and the like is strictly prohibited in SJCCI and will merit disciplinary sanctions to the fullest extent.
No student shall promote any activity, directly or indirectly within the school or use its name, unless such student organization has been duly organized in accordance with the rules of the school and DepEd.
Any application for the use of the facilities shall be filed in writing by the President or Secretary of the recognized student organization with the Directress or Principal for approval.
Any loss, damage or destruction of any of the said school facilities being used, shall be the responsibility of the organization using them.
The posting, distribution or circulation within the school premises of any literature, poster, handbills, and the like whether commercial or otherwise, shall be approved by the Superior and/or Directress/Principal.
The CLUBS and ORGANIZATIONS offered by the school to every student are listed below. One can only be a member of one (1) Academic Club, and one (1) Non- Academic Club respectively. The Special Clubs are offered to those who have special inclinations or skills to a certain club or based on religious affiliation.
Academic Clubs
BATINGAW
The club aims to provide opportunities for students to develop civic and social awareness, enhance readiness to respond to the needs of the community. It will make the students appreciate Filipino heritage, customs and traditions as well as those of other countries. As they relate to one another, they will know the basic needs and aspiration of each individual, its uniqueness and spirit of dependency leading to universal brotherhood.
HOMEBYTES
The club will introduce the students to the practical side of life devoid of technologies, the traditional way of doing things through resourcefulness on what things are available. The skills and abilities of Homebytes will promote wholesome family life by being involved in home activities and positive attitude towards work.
LANGUAGE (ENGLISH / FILIPINO)
The club aims to provide opportunities for students to further enhance their competencies in communications in English and Filipino. It will lead the students to appreciate different literary works and will make them articulate speakers and good listeners. This will refine their oral and written expressions through the use of clean language.
MATH
The club aims to reinforce mastery of skills in solving mathematical problems. It will supplement traditional mathematical concepts and strategies with relevant and funny techniques.
SCIENCE
The club aims to provide opportunities for students to be exposed to current scientific innovations that will greatly develop their proficiency in Science.
NON – ACADEMIC CLUBS
SPORTS
The club aims to develop the body and physical endowments of each one through games, various sports activities and school programs and to build up the spirit of confidence, unity and harmonious relationship in each one through Sports.
VOCATION CLUB
This club aims at fostering vocation to priestly and religious life. Students will greatly appreciate the vocation to married life, the source of priestly and religious vocations and respect the vocation to single blessedness. Students will primarily pray and support vocations to priestly and religious life and initiate activities related to the aims of the club.
OUTREACH / COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Strengthening the evangelization program of the school is the main goal of this club through catechesis, oikos and community building (charity works & livelihood programs) and Bible study.
LITURGICAL GUILD
This club aims to encourage and facilitate meaningful participation in liturgical and para-liturgical services and devotions for a more significant encounter with Jesus, with Mary and with the saints in school, Church, and parish community. It also promotes the Gospel Values and vocation to the priestly and religious life.
PINSEL
The club widens the opportunities of the students to expose them in art appreciation and enhance talents in arts. This club will slowly introduce the students to fine arts.
SPECIAL CLUBS
THEATRE ARTS
Upholds the Evangelization program through theatre arts; discovers, improves and enhances the God-given talents through literary, musical and cultural activities.
SJCCI CROONERS (CHOIR)
The club enhances the students’ voice and talent in singing. They will be slowly exposed to singing opportunities in school campus and the parish (serving as choir) as well as to singing competitions near and far.
JUNIOR JOSEPHIAN CHRONICLE (JJC)
This club will widen the students’ opportunities in journalism and enhance their skills in writing and sketching different articles and effective communication through writing. The skills gained will introduce them to becoming future reporters, writers and editors. Note that the members are selected by the moderator through preliminary competitive examination and based from their past experiences involving campus journalism.
KNIGHTS OF THE ALTAR (KOA)
The organization provides the young boys of various ways and opportunities to be close to God served during the Holy Mass. This will instill in the youth great devotion and appreciation of Christian liturgy and the sacraments by their active participation in assisting the priest in the Eucharistic celebration. It also promotes the vocation to priesthood.
OTHER CLUBS WITH MASS STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
CONFRATERNITY OF OUR LADY OF CARMEL (COLC)
The Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is the principal patroness of the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters. Their Foundresses, Mother Dionisia and Mother Cecilia Rosa Talangpaz were deeply devoted to her. As a special tribute to her, the confraternity aims at fostering greater personal devotion to Mary and spreading such devotion through the Brown Scapular.
BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES
The fellowship will provide opportunities for boys and girls scouts in the Elementary Department to develop desirable attitudes and habits to grow in personal discipline, responsibilities and service to others especially in times of calamities and disasters. The students will gain knowledge of first aid and other practical measures in saving lives. The club will promote voluntary and unselfish community involvement. Members are selected with the consent of their parents.thout any valid reason.
