In line with its mission to form academically competent, morally upright, and socially responsible individuals, SJCCI offers various scholarship opportunities that respond to the academic performance, financial needs, and service-oriented values of its students.

The scholarship program supports students based on academic merit, financial need, leadership, and special qualifications, and is administered in accordance with institutional policies and CHED guidelines. Through institutional funding, government subsidies, alumni support, and external partnerships, SJCCI promotes academic excellence, student retention, and holistic development while upholding transparency, fairness, and sustainability.

Scholarship Grants

Eligibility and Requirements

A. Academic Scholarship

The Academic Scholarship is granted to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. This scholarship recognizes excellence in learning and motivates students to consistently uphold high academic standards.

  • Program Details:

    • 10% tuition fee discount for students with Highest Honors (subject to evaluation and institutional guidelines)

  • Requirements:

    • Certificate of Ranking from the student’s previous school

B. Talangpaz Scholarship

The Talangpaz Scholarship is a financial assistance program for students who are financially challenged yet academically and morally deserving. It aims to support hardworking learners who exhibit strong character, leadership, and integrity.

  • Program Details:

    • 100% tuition fee coverage

    • Open to Grades 7–10 students

  • Requirements:

    • Letter of Intent (subject to approval)

    • Must pass the Talangpaz Scholarship Examination

  • Scholar Responsibilities

    • Must demonstrate leadership and integrity

    • Must maintain no grade lower than 80%

C. Educational Service Contracting (ESC) / Educational Voucher System (EVS)

The ESC/EVS is a government-funded tuition subsidy program that assists qualified students enrolled in private schools. This subsidy supports learners in continuing their education and remains valid as long as the program requirements are met.

  • Program Details:

    • Government-funded tuition subsidy for students in private schools

    • Available to incoming Grades 7 and 11

    • Valid until completion of Junior High School or Senior High School, provided that requirements are consistently met

  • Requirements:

    • Original Report Card (Grade 6 for incoming Grade 7 / Grade 10 for incoming Grade 11)

    • Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate

    • Two (2) recent 2x2 ID pictures

    • Photocopy of the latest BIR Income Tax Return of both parents or Certificate of Tax Exemption.

D. Intern / Extern Service Scholar

The Intern/Extern Service Scholar Program is a full scholarship opportunity for financially needy but deserving college students. Scholars receive tuition assistance in exchange for approved institutional service, under the care and guidance of the AR Sisters.

  • Program Coverage

    • Intern Service Scholar

      • Free tuition, miscellaneous, and other school fees

      • Free board and lodging

      • Monthly allowance

    • · Extern Service Scholar

      • Free tuition only

      • Miscellaneous fees are shouldered by the scholar

  • Requirements

    • Letter of Intent (subject to approval)

    • Must be at least 18 years old

    • Must be in good health and of good moral character

    • Must show emotional maturity

    • Must have at least average academic performance based on school credentials

  • Acceptance Criteria

    • Applicants from areas with an AR Sisters community/school must be endorsed by the School Administrative Board Chairperson/Co-Chairperson

    • Applicants should not have a Sister-relative or be recommended by a Sister in the same school where they will serve

    • Applicants with a sibling currently serving as a service scholar are strongly discouraged

  • Scholar Responsibilities

    • Perform assigned tasks diligently and honestly

    • Maintain a grade of 80% and above in all subjects

    • Render service during short and long vacations (subject to approval)

    • Provide personal outfits and personal/school needs

  • Other Conditions

    • Scholarship renewal is based on annual evaluation

    • Study load is subject to approval of the Sister-in-charge

    • Failure to meet academic or service requirements may result in withdrawal of scholarship privileges

    • Scholars are accountable for assigned areas and responsibilities

  • Rules and Conduct

    Service scholars are expected to:

    • Follow all school rules and regulations

    • Attend classes regularly and be punctual

    • Wear the school uniform during school hours and required functions

    • Observe respect, courtesy, and proper behavior at all times

    • Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and modesty (especially in dormitory areas, if applicable)

E. OAK Scholar

The OAK Scholar Program supports incoming Grade 7 students who are academically excellent, service-oriented, and financially in need. This scholarship is made possible through the continued support of the SJCCI Alumni Association.

  • Program Details:

    • Full or partial scholarship coverage (Grade 7–10), subject to maintaining requirements

    • Open to incoming Grade 7 students

    • Supported by the SJCCI Alumni Association

  • Requirements

    Applicants must meet the following qualifications and submit the required documents:

    • Eligibility:

      • Incoming Grade 7 student

      • General average of at least 90% with no failing grades

      • Demonstrates good moral character, leadership, and active participation in school/community activities

      • With financial need (subject to verification)

      • No record of major disciplinary violations

    • Documents to Submit:

      • Accomplished OAK Scholarship Application Form

      • Certified Report Card (latest grading period)

      • Certificate of Good Moral Character (Guidance Office)

      • Recommendation Letter (teacher/school administrator/parish priest)

      • 500-word essay: “How Can I Uphold the Values of SJCCI as an OAK Scholar?”

      • Proof of financial need (ITR or Certificate of Indigency, if applicable)

      • Application letter signed by the parent

  • Selection Process

    • Initial Screening – Review of documents and qualifications

    • Panel Interview – Assessment of values, leadership, and motivation

    • Final Deliberation – Selection based on academic merit, character, and financial need

  • Scholarship Benefits

    • Full or partial tuition fee coverage from Grade 7 to Grade 10, as long as requirements are maintained

    • Leadership and formation programs

    • Mentorship opportunities with faculty and alumni
