SJCCI Unites in Faith for Holy Rosary Celebration

Saint Joseph College of Cavite City Inc.'s (SJCCI) Rosary Month Celebration was held on October 21, 2025 at Saint Joseph College of Cavite Inc. in order to promote spiritual growth and Marian devotion among the students, staff members, and teachers.

A competition of the most biblical Mama Mary Look-Alike, Talangpaz Hymn interpretation dance, and a living rosary was held with an offering of canned goods from the outreach club.

For category 1, the 4 sections of grade 7 and 3 sections of grade 8 competed for Mama Mary Look-Alike and the Talangpaz Hymn Interpretative Dance.

On the other hand, both 2 sections of grade 9 and grade 10 compete both competitions in category 2. An Altar Making contest was conducted with the same categories. The St. Joseph community welcomed this month with a Dalaw Birhen, as the image of Nuestra Señora de Porta Vaga visited and made more meaningful with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration at the school chapel.

School administrators expressed their gratitude for the school community. This celebration promoted the students’ faith in Mama Mary and helped them pray the rosary more every day. It also gave knowledge to students about where the Augustinian Recollect (AR) congregation started which SJC is under.
